have free swim and aquatic aerobics at Lake Forest High School.

Band - Senior-Friendly instruments
encourage use of talents and skills.
Bible Discussion - Various topics to
encourage individuals to explore and understand the meaning and purpose
of their lives.
Billiards - Two pool tables allow for
individual and competitive games for both men and women.
Bingo - Weekly games at the
Center especially for those who have limited mobility and skill level
Prizes awarded to game winners . Weekly games at McDonald's and Arby's.
Birthday Parties - Monthly luncheon
celebration with entertainment in a community setting.
Crafts - Knitting and other
easy-to-create activities. Craft classes every Tuesday.
Cards - Daily games of
Bridge, Pinochle and Canasta for groups of 4 or more.
Gardening Club- Seasonal activities in
flower and vegetable growing, flower arrangements and centerpieces.
Chorus - Various musical selections
and seasonal performances.
Exercise - Low-impact chair exercise,
and stretching led by a certified health professional.
Aerobics, Yoga and Tai-Chi, also available. All presented weekly.
Oil and Water color Painting Lessons - Classes
in style, design and use of both oil and watercolor paints.
Ceramics - Seasonal designs of figures
and figurines.
Dance Lessons - (Square, Line and
Ballroom) Serves as a skill development lesson and exercise. Variations
of dance steps in these different traditions. Lessons are held in
the evenings.
Walking Club - Informal walking inside
at the local Skating Rink.
Meditation - Weekly instruction and
practice of the tradition of meditation. Serves as a stress
reducing and centering activity.
Hymn Sing - Quarterly singspiration
to ensure holistic approach to wellness.
Movies - Latest video movies at the
Center and trips to local theaters for first run movies.
